service - Negative staining
B A C KGet a new perspective on sample quality with visual feedback
Negative staining is a necessary procedure to evaluate the behavior of biomolecules. After purification, the protein will be stained with heavy metal and checked under a low-end electron microscope, thus having a very quick look to check if the protein is in good homogeneity at a low cost.

Why do you need Negative staining Services?
● Catch a glimpse of sample purity and homogeneity
● Check if the purification conditions suitable for specimen preparation
● Detection of 2D characterization of biomolecules
About the samples
Protein (10-20μl,≥0.1mg/mL):
SDS-PAGE to check no polluted or degraded protein bands. Make sure it is the target protein (mass spectrometry identification, etc.)
Buffer (50-100ml):
Do not contain organic substances such as polysaccharides, DMSO, glycerol. Salt concentration should below 300mM.
Storage (10-20μl/tube):
Samples should be divided into aliquots, flash frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
